Sanchit Shokeen, popularly known as TechBar, on journey to building his digital empire crossing millions of subscribers online

February 21: Through the hard days locked at home during the pandemic, lockdown needed some entertainment. The millennial gadget has been helping people connect to their loved ones or even entertain them by watching their favourite shows online. Gadgets were almost like the best friend for many at home for over 2 years now. Even the entire world has now shifted to making everything work at the convenience of the home. Over decades the usage of gadgets has changed drastically. Be it the phone people use or the laptops they love, gadgets come in handy in every way making evolutionary changes over the last few decades. Sanchit Shokeen, the owner of @techbar is the friend in need of many gadget lovers. Sanchit has been reviewing gadgets for over 9 years on his YouTube channel. He is a young millennial chap who loves to introduce his viewers to new gadgets and deliver honest reviews to save his followers from choosing the wrong gadget. His dream is to build his digital empire, helping individuals know their products better than ever before. His hard work and dedication have helped earn millions of subscribers online, making him one of the most wanted gadget gurus of all time.

Sanchit started making videos when he was an engineering student, and he delicately begun working on making videos since then. From making his first video on a photo-shop tutorial to now crossing over 700 plus videos on YouTube channel, he has leapt hundreds and earned the trust and loyalty of his viewers. He believes in making video the answer to many gadget queries by using simple language to help the layman understand the gadget well. His focus has always been to introduce and evaluate the gadget with utmost efficiency and explain every bit of the technicality using basic language. Recently he even went the extra mile to introduce his viewers to all the steps of getting to a service centre to fix a broken phone. He found his real success when he shot a video 2 years ago on a 4 lakh Rupees Gaming Laptop. Sanchit received millions of views on that video, making that video the most-watched and him being one of the most appreciated YouTube Gadget Gurus. Being a young lad, he connected to the generic crowd, including the millennials who are the most wanted gadget users in India.

He has made videos on laptops, smartphones, smartwatches, Bluetooth headphones, apple products, gaming consoles, set-ups, smart TVs, tablets, and even cars. He mentions, “I never really wanted to do a 9-5 job, and so I always invested my time doing something of my own. My YouTube channel is one such thing I did to share my views on gadgets. I would have never thought that I would be able to touch millions of subscribers if this had been 9 years back. People love honest reviews because they put so much money and time into buying their favourite gadget, and it is a sheer disappointment if they do not find the performance that they were expecting. My idea is to reach not just the gadget lovers but also the budget-conscious people, the classic gadget users, and even the laymen who just want a smooth gadget to run their daily show. All the videos I make are my genuine personal opinion, and this is the only way that I can reach more viewers by presenting the reality of gadgets. Be it a pocket-friendly phone or a customized gadget, to know the performance is extremely important as you put so much love into buying it.” Sanchit Shokeen’s constant hard work towards building helpful videos has helped many across the country resulting in building his digital empire crossing millions of subscribers online.
