Prateek Kuhad Releases New Single ‘Blush’, Announces Third Studio Album ‘Full Moon Chamber’

Singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad has released his first single, “Blush,” from his upcoming album Full Moon Chamber, scheduled for release on July 10 via Atlantic Records. The single is accompanied by an official music video.

Blush” leads with a softly driven guitar riff. “It’s that heady feeling of infatuation that comes with meeting somebody and falling for them hard,” Kuhad says.

Full Moon Chamber is Kuhad’s third studio album, his first since The Way That Lovers Do (2022). Created between New York and Los Angeles, the project explores themes of love, identity, and emotional transformation, capturing a period of both personal and artistic evolution.

“I went through a lot of uncertainty for a couple of years. The music industry changed. A lot changed for me personally as well. But through it all, I ended up finding a part of myself that I had lost. The album follows that arc,” Kuhad said.

L.A.-based producer Nick Ruth (Kelly Clarkson, Bakar, Lauren Spencer Smith) shaped the project into a cohesive whole, refining Kuhad’s recordings with various collaborators into a unified sonic vision.

Full Moon Chamber is currently available for pre-order ahead of its worldwide release on July 10.

About Prateek Kuhad

It is the spaces that bring our vulnerabilities to the surface and force us to look at our true selves that appear to enchant Prateek Kuhad. Lauded by Rolling Stone India as “one of the country’s leading singer-songwriters,” Kuhad’s cinematic songwriting reminds listeners that great music can often make intimacy feel expansive.

A pair of early EPs put Kuhad on the map, followed by his full-length debut in 2017, In Tokens and Charms, which earned him Indie Album of the Year honours from iTunes. In 2018, his EP Cold/Mess debuted at #1 on Spotify India. He maintained this momentum with Kasoor in 2020, which became the first independently released track in India to claim the #1 spot on Apple Music’s all-genre chart.

Released in 2022, The Way That Lovers Do earned new fanfare, with Co2 becoming his most-streamed track across platforms. Kuhad has headlined festivals like Lollapalooza India and sold out headline tours across North America, Europe, the UK, Asia, and the Middle East.
