U.S. Vice President Mike Penns, a spokesman for Donald Trump, one of the president’s top advisors, tested positive for the coronavirus, expressing concern about the possible spread of the virus within the inner circle of the White House.
Kathy Miller, who is married to Stephen Miller, an immigration consultant and White House speechwriter, was diagnosed by Trump at a meeting with Republican lawmakers on Friday, the day after Trump’s personal clerk tested positive for the virus.
Katie, she was tested very well over a long period of time, and then today suddenly she tested positive, Trump said, noting that he hadn’t contacted her himself, but that she had spent time with the vice president. I think Mike passed the test… and he tested negative.

Despite Trump’s comments, these two cases in rapid succession increased fears of contagion for the president and vice president, who led the U.S. response to the pandemic and resumed travel and business, despite the fact that the death toll in the United States is over 75,000.
White House spokeswoman Kaylie McEnani on Friday wanted to protect the government’s efforts to protect assets and pence, citing new White House measures including contact tracing and implementation of all advised policies for key personnel.
We took every precaution to protect the president, McEnani told reporters at the White House briefing. She also noticed the regular cleaning and respect for the two meter distance between people, which is not always respected during very busy White House events.
We did everything Dr. (Deborah) Birks and Dr. (Anthony) Fauci asked us to do, she added, and we turned to the highly respected doctors of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.

Earlier on Friday, in an interview with Fox News, Mr Trump was asked whether those who serve him food will now close their faces. They have already started, he said on the morning show of the Fox network and his friends.
The White House has also introduced daily instead of weekly testing for coronavirus in the tubes and pence. Both men tested negative for the virus and felt well after a domestic worker, a soldier who worked as an assistant to the White House, fell ill with the virus.
Dr. Trump told Fox News that he has not yet been tested for antibodies against the coronavirus, but that he will probably be tested soon. This test can confirm the previous exposure.
Trump and Pence keep a full calendar of public appointments. The vice president, who led the coronavirus task force, traveled to Iowa on Friday to meet religious leaders at the headquarters of Hy-Vee Inc, a Midwestern food chain, to hold responsible meetings and discuss food supply issues.
The news of the positive test by the Pence assistant was reason for the staff to take off Friday morning with Air Force 2 and to postpone the take-off briefly.
We went back and checked all the man’s recent contacts, a senior official told reporters, according to the pool’s report. Six people who may have been in contact with an infected assistant were taken off the flight and subsequently tested negative. Two of them were members of the Pence press office.
Trump attended a public event on Friday at the Second World War Memorial with high-ranking veterans. Neither Trump, nor First Lady Melanie Trump, nor veterans or soldiers were present at the ceremony.
Later, Kozyr personally met members of the Republican Congress in the White House, where it turned out that no masks were being worn. The legislators were tested for the virus before the meeting.
DICTATORS, KINGS AND QUEENS…
Personal protective covers were difficult for Trump and Pence to sell, despite the Centers for Disease Control’s recommendations that masks or other alternatives should be worn.
Trump and Pence were both burned because they weren’t wearing masks, and critics say they set a bad example for Americans.
Trump himself said he wouldn’t wear the mask at any of his pandemic events or in public, but told reporters this week that he tried some of them backstage during a visit to Honeywell’s facial mask factory in Arizona.
The virus, which first appeared at the end of last year in Wuhan, China, infected more than a million Americans and left millions unemployed because measures were taken to contain the spread of the infection.
