Netweb’s ‘Make in India’ compliant Tyrone servers, launched at MAIT-ETMS 2021

New Delhi [India], May 11: Netweb Technologies launched the latest TYRONE servers at MAIT-ETMS 2021 in compliance with GOI’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative for the complex computing needs of Indian companies.

Manufacturers’ Association for Information Technology (MAIT), the apex industry body of the IT manufacturing companies in India, organised the 3rd edition of the Electronics Manufacturing Summit (ETMS) from 22nd to 23rd April 2021. A major attraction of this virtual summit was the launch of the TYRONE family of servers by Netweb Technologies. The event was unveiled by the Honorable Minister of State for Communications and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Sanjay Dhotre, and the Secretary of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Shri Ajay Prakash Sawhney, in the presence of distinguished guests and industry stalwarts.

In today’s connected world, every business decision is data-backed. Companies face an ever-increasing need to design, develop and implement Private Cloud Solutions, High-Performance Computing Clusters, and Modern Data Centres to augment their management and operations capabilities. However, running data-intensive, highly complex business processes securely, reliably, and, above all, efficiently requires full-fledged solutions involving servers, storage, backups and high-performance computing. And the success of these solutions essentially depends on multiple paradigms like business needs, return of investments and technological cohesiveness. It has always been a challenge for companies to build their business-specific solutions cost-effectively.

Fortunately, India is fast becoming self-reliant on devising every aspect of complex business process computing solutions. The significant boost behind the achievement comes from cutting-edge innovations by Indian IT manufacturing companies, guidance by apex industry bodies like MAIT and continuous support from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, India. As part of this industry trend, Netweb Technologies delivers TYRONE – the 1st Make in India servers with global standard server solutions.

“I am proud to see the unveiling of sophisticated, innovatively designed and made-in-India products at MAIT ETMS 2021, including a family of servers. These are the outcome of India’s strategy towards Atmanirbhar in electronic products.” – Mr. Sanjay Dhotre, Minister of State for Communication, Education and Electronics & Information Technology at ETMS 2021.

Tyrone family of servers is locally manufactured, using the nation’s design and manufacturing capabilities. These servers allow Indian companies of every size to use the right technology blocks according to their business needs and goals without overstepping their IT budget. Besides, locally manufactured chassis and other server parts of the Tyrone range provide support to small-scale Indian electronics manufacturing companies. As part of evolving electronics and IT manufacturing industry ecosystem, Netweb has also utilised its server manufacturing capability to achieve forward and backward integration. Tyrone range of servers is best-suitable for every complex IT and computing needs starting from supercomputing, cloud computing to AI and big data handling.

“We heartily thank the entire team of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology for such progressive steps to encourage manufacturing capabilities in India. Netweb has been a leader in manufacturing servers in India since 2008, but with Govt of India’s ‘Make in India’ mission, the Indian OEMs have got the right ecosystem which was due for years.” – Mr. Sanjay Lodha, CEO for Netweb Technologies.
