Jai Hind College Global E-Summit Ignites Entrepreneurial Spirit

New Delhi (India), January 29: Jai Hind College (Empowered Autonomous), Mumbai, cemented its commitment to fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem with the roaring success of its 8th Global Entrepreneurship Summit, held on the 19th and 20th of January. Presented by IDBI Bank and co-powered by Jio News, the summit saw an impressive turnout, with over 120 startups registering and 50+ industry leaders gracing the event with their invaluable presence. Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Vijay Dabholkar and Academic Head Dr. Rakhi Sharma, the summit provided a dynamic platform for budding entrepreneurs to connect, learn, and ignite their ventures.

The first day was a whirlwind of activity, brimming with challenging business events like brainstorming sessions and ideation competitions. Masterclasses and workshops conducted by industry leaders equipped participants with practical skills and strategic insights. Each session crackled with innovation and the air thrummed with the electricity of ambition.

The second day upped the ante with keynote speeches from industry giants. Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe, Founder & President of the SME Chamber of India, Start-up Council of India, and SME Business Management Institute, shared his vast experience in navigating the entrepreneurial landscape. Mr. Vishal Gondal, Founder & CEO of GOQii, unveiled the secrets of building a digital wellness empire. Mr. Manish Chowdhary, Founder & CEO of WOW Skin Science, shed light on the booming beauty market and Mr. Sneh Vaswani, Co-Founder and CEO of Miko, explored the exciting world of AI-powered toys. Finally, Mr. Argenio Antao MRICS, COO at Colliers India, offered valuable insights into the real estate sector. The day culminated in the much-awaited flagship Startup Competition, where passionate entrepreneurs pitched their ventures for a chance to win a substantial cash prize. 

Throughout the summit, the dedication of the student team, led by Student Secretary Brinda Dhorda and Student Joint Secretaries Nishka Dixit, Khushi Tourani, Vaani Daarke, Ayush Agrawal, Rishabh Gupta, Atharva Pawar, and Urvashi Matlani, shone through.

The 8th Global Entrepreneurship Summit at Jai Hind College has once again proven the institute’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.
