Bengaluru, Karnataka [India]: Vikas Goel is a serial entrepreneur with a decade-long experience in the Digital Industry. His early life failures have helped him to successfully run multiple ventures, including DGTG, EsportXo, Businessbyte, and many more.
His entrepreneurial journey began when he refused a high-paying job from his college campus and opted for an internship in a digital marketing company in 2009. Though there was not much glare in this industry as it is today, his long-term vision could foresee the bright future of the digital industry. He was keen to learn every aspect of the digital industry, and his tireless dedication was rewarded by the company and he was promoted to an executive role. He worked for more than three years.
Now, he was ready with his learning and experience to start his entrepreneurial journey to make a mark in the digital industry, but destiny had some other plans for him. For the next three years, he started multiple ventures and brutally failed in all of them. Though the time was tough, his self-belief and never giving up attitude didn’t allow him to change his routes to success.
After failures, hardships, and days of gloom, there was light at the end of the tunnel. It was 2015 when he started DGTG. It was his final bet and everything he had was on the stake, but this time he tasted success. DGTG has clocked a revenue of INR 15L in the first year. From working alone for long nights, today, the team of DGTG has grown to 35 members with offices in Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Today, DGTG has become a recognized brand in the digital space and having clientele all across the globe.
But it was not enough to quench his hunger to experiment and work upon new ideas. Therefore in 2019, he along with one of his friends started esportXo, which is now gaining attention across the country for starting the first of its kind Gaming House named XoSpace. He could foresee the potential of the esports industry in the country, therefore he started working upon the brand esportsXO.
His expertise lies in bootstrapping ventures and turning them into highly profitable businesses. He is also investing in multiple domains like eCommerce, content, etc. To help the aspiring entrepreneurs, he is sharing his two cents through multiple platforms via content under the name Vikasifications.
No matter how much he is involved in his work, he always takes time for travelling, as he loves it. Travelling not only helps him for brainstorming, and relaxation but quenches his thirst for chatting and building networks along the journey.
